Amazin’ is a tall, wide, long bodied buck with excellent angulation to his rear legs. His dam was junior National Champion. Her dam and her dam’s dam were both senior National Champions. His maternal sister, Temerity, is the 2008 National Champion, while his paternal sister, Misha, won the 2 year old class at the 2008 Nationals. His sire was Premier sire at the 2008 Nationals. We owned his dam’s full brother, Aesop, and he crossed great with our McCayla line, producing CH Meadow and McKenzie. Meadow won the 5-6 year old class at the 2008 Nationals, while McKenzie was 5^th place yearling milker at the 2004 National Show.

We were so excited when Rachel delivered us a huge (13 pound) buck kid out of an AI breeding to Valarian’s sire, 8 Spot. We were wanting a buck from this breeding to use on our McCayla line. We know the cross works as Valarian is the product of such a cross. Valarian’s dam and granddam were sired by a McCayla son named GCH *B Foxwood M&M Mr McCay.

Man is linebred on Amberwood Viking’s Hero as his dam’s sire, Double Smooth Legacy, goes back to GCH ++*B Kismet Smooth Operator twice (SO was out of GCH Nutmeg, a daughter of Hero). Man’s sire, 8 Spot, descends from three Hero daughters (GCH Nutmeg, CH Kismet and CH Cashmere). He is typical of the Hero animals bred by Kismet, being exceptionally tall and long with plenty of bone and breed character. He is probably as correct as any buck we’ve ever bred.
